Brazilian Cultural Arts Project

Educate. Engage. Inspire.

Our Mission

To create opportunities for Afro-Brazilian cultural arts education through capoeira, dance, music, and cultural programming while investing in the next generation through need-based youth scholarships.

Our Vision

A community where capoeira and other Afro-Brazilian cultural arts are accessible to all, fostering education, community engagement, and opportunities for the next generation.

What We Do

Educate. Engage. Inspire.

We provide learning experiences in capoeira, music, dance, history, and traditions that deepen cultural understanding and appreciation of Afro-Brazilian culture.

We create opportunities for community engagement through cultural exchange, workshops, performances, and shared experiences.

We provide need-based capoeira scholarships that help remove financial barriers, giving youth the opportunity to develop confidence, discipline, leadership, and a lifelong connection to Afro-Brazilian culture.

Why It Matters

Afro-Brazilian cultural arts are rooted in a powerful history of resilience, identity, and community. Born from the experiences of enslaved Africans and their descendants in Brazil, traditions such as capoeira continue to connect people through movement, music, history, and shared experiences. We believe cultural arts education builds more than artistic skills—it develops confidence, discipline, respect, and a sense of belonging. By making these experiences accessible, especially for young people, we help create opportunities for the next generation to grow as learners, leaders, and cultural ambassadors.
